Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA Resource Centre) is a non-governmental and non-partisan human rights and development league. It has mandate to defend, protect and promote universally recognised human rights and environmental justice in Nigeria and Africa, in accordance with international standards. These objectives are pursued through research and publications, campaigns, human rights education and empowerment projects and programmes.
OUR PROGRAMMES
Human RightsHEDA advocates the justifiability and enforcement of the socio-economic rights, presently regarded as fundamental objectives and directives of state principles in the Nigerian constitution, and ultimately, investigate, monitor, report and campaign against human rights violations in all its manifestations.
Focuses on promoting democratic and other principles important to the development of participatory democratic culture in the government and the people and advocate for the respect and promotion of rule of law through networking with other human rights bodies and governmental apparatuses in promoting the spirit of qualitative and responsive Leadership…
